Met iTunes 9 toch weer Smart Playlists naar je iPhone en iPod touch

Sinds de upgrade naar iTunes 9 lukte het me niet meer om Smart Playlists met mijn iPhone te synchroniseren. Ik ga er van uit dat dit in een volgende release van iTunes en/of de iPhone/iPod touch firmware wordt opgelost, want dit manco is best wel vervelend.

In de tussentijd moeten we het doen met de volgende tijdeljke oplossing:

From iTunes 8 to iTunes 9, playlists with podcasts went from syncing from the Music tab to syncing from the Podcasts tab. If you want to use Smart Playlists to manage the podcast content that is synced to your iPhone or iPod touch, uncheck the “Automatically include” option at the top of the Podcasts tab. Then scroll down and check the playlists in the “Include Episodes from Playlists” section.
